Objectives
1. To increase the awareness of commonality of underlying Hinduness in temporal matters of life, among all Hindus in the U.S. through extensive communications - presentations, seminars and and workshops.
2. To establish a mechanism of literature dissemination to reinforce the Hinduness among all U.S. Hindus.
3. To facilitate a platform for socio-political reorganization of the American Hindu community to galvanize itself as a singular socio-political community.
4. To organize special events for the purpose of reinforcing socio-political Hinduness among Hindus in the U.S. and to establish a passionate connection with their persecuted fellow Hindus in other countries.
5. To tap into the energies of the second generation and beyond and unlock their potential to transform American Hindus into a socio-political community.
6. To closely monitor events in the U.S. and all over the world to detect incidents of bias, persecution, aggression and violence against Hindus due to their Hinduness, and organize activities to help the victims.
7. To raise charitable funds to provide relief and assistance to persecuted Hindus in America and all over the world.
8. To organize economic relief and social rehabilitation for Hindu victims of criminal violence, accidents and domestic abuse.
9. To create a community social support system for youth, women and senior citizens.
10. To organize resistance to infringement of religious freedom in the U.S. by groups engaging in conversions by force or fraud.
11. To organize social resistance to religious persecution in the U.S. that may escape the ambit of legal and constitutional protection codified in the U.S. laws.
12. To organize counseling and social support to Hindu families affected by religious debasement due to inter-religious marriages.
13. To establish linkages with like-minded organizations and establish common cause with other communities in the U.S. to take part in joint action towards the defense of freedom, democracy, pluralism and human rights.
