Strategic Determinants
· The essential catalyst required to cover the dwindling patches of common ground in Hindu society are a dedicated and patriotic group of Hindus. This group must provide leadership and moral support for all other volunteers, and workers in this cause.
· Support of small business owners and service workers can facilitate community cohesion by providing networking opportunities, use of bulletin boards, community awards and meeting places.
· Human resources volunteers to recruit, train, and motivate individuals, groups, etc to provide a sound people oriented infrastructure.
· Technical support for wide use of internet, web services, emails and forums to set up vital nodes of communication.
· Mobilizing the “Remix generation”/second generation Indian Americans to assist in construction of an involved, dynamic group through study of mythology, History, theater, music bands, folk, classical dancing, articles, research, documentaries, forums, etc.
· Individuals to lead local groups to increase participation by Hindus constrained by distance or lack of time.
· Educating the temple associations to add relevance by providing solutions to problems faced by Hindus in everyday life.
· Diffusing tensions due to external factors such as hostility, or racially coded messages.
